Palper is developed by Ankush Gupta as a freemium password vault application. The application provides secure credential storage directly on the user's device and is intended to operate fully offline.
Palper is designed to operate completely offline. All passwords, credentials, and secure notes are stored locally on your device's internal storage. The developer does not have access to this information and no vault data is transmitted to external servers.
All sensitive information stored within Palper is protected using AES-256 encryption. Encryption keys are managed locally using the Android Keystore system. Because encryption keys and master passwords are never stored on external servers, the developer cannot recover your vault data if your master password is lost.
Palper may use biometric authentication features provided by the Android operating system, such as fingerprint or face recognition, to unlock the vault. Biometric information is handled entirely by the operating system and is never accessed, collected, or stored by the developer.
Palper does not collect, store, transmit, or share personal data, vault information, or device analytics with external servers. All data remains solely on the user's device.
Palper offers optional premium features through in-app purchases processed by the secure billing infrastructure of Google Play. All payment transactions are handled directly by Google. The developer does not collect or store credit card numbers, banking information, or other financial data.
The security of your stored data depends on the security of your device. Users are strongly encouraged to enable device security features such as a lock screen, strong device password, or biometric authentication.
