This Privacy Policy describes how Ankush Gupta Tech ("I", "me") collects, uses, and protects personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Canadian privacy law.

This policy applies to visitors of ankushguptatech.com and anyone who submits information through this website — including project inquiry forms, newsletter subscriptions, or any other contact method.

2. Information I Collect

I collect personal information only when you voluntarily provide it. This includes:

• Contact & quote requests: Your name, email address, and any project details you choose to share
• Newsletter subscriptions: Your email address
• Analytics: Anonymized usage data via Google Analytics (pages visited, general location, device type) — no personally identifiable information is collected through analytics

I do not collect payment information, health information, or sensitive personal data through this website.

3. Why I Collect This Information

• To respond to project inquiries and quote requests
• To send occasional updates to newsletter subscribers when new guides are published
• To understand how visitors use the site so I can improve it

I will not use your personal information for any purpose other than the one for which it was collected without your consent.

4. How Long I Keep Your Information

Project inquiry data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the inquiry and any resulting business relationship. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Analytics data is subject to Google's standard retention policy.

5. Who Has Access to Your Information

Your personal information is stored in Google Firebase Firestore, which operates data centres in the United States and other jurisdictions. I do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Inquiry data is accessible only to me (Ankush Gupta) through a private admin interface.

6. Cookies and Tracking

This site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to collect anonymized usage data. These cookies do not identify you personally. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

7. Your Rights Under PIPEDA

You have the right to:

• Know what personal information I hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Withdraw consent and request deletion of your information
• File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you believe your rights have been violated
